Scheduled Events

Tara began dancing in Vermont in 1999 when Jana Robicheau, director of a Kalu Rinpoche Dharma center in Montpelier invited Prema & Anahata to teach the dance in her center.

Elizabeth Breck, a Third Level Tara Dance teacher moved to the area and worked together with the local Taras.

Jana and several of the community members joined the 2001 Tara Dance pilgrimage to India and Nepal. Since that time an ongoing Tara Dance circle has anchored the dance in Vermont.

Schedule for Vermont

The Vermont Tara Dance Circle meets every first Sunday of the month from 5-7 pm at the Plainfield Community center. The Center is above the Plainfield Co-op in the center of the town of Plainfield.

The Mandala Dance of the 21 Tara’s will be offered to Lama Wangdue by the members of the Central VT Tara Dance Group at the
Plainfield Community Center,
in Plainfield Vermon.

The Public are invited to attend and a donation is requested.
