Kylie is a writer, performance poet and activist living in Gainesville,
FL. Educated at SUNY Binghamton, the University of Florida, and the
Florida School of Massage, she has since immersed herself in event
production, community organizing, and leveraging social media to
effect positive cultural change.
In 2004, Kylie co-founded ThirdEyeSpoken, a performance poetry collective
dedicated to grassroots fundraising for local non-profit organizations,
as well as serving marginilized populations through the arts. She has done
extensive volunteer work and led workshops in crisis centers, juvenile
detention centers, after school programs for at-risk youth, and drug
treatment centers through this medium.
She continues her healing arts education with the guidance of the Maori
Healers of New Zealand, the founders of the First Light Flower Essences
of New Zealand, and the Supreme Science QiGong Foundation. She is
currently at work on her first book on healing trauma in the 21st
century.
